Bang on!!! Our faith is not passionate we are just ticking boxes due to compulsions
The fire in our bellies is non-existent….. Praying for its re ignition by the Holy Spirit
Thank you For. for your reflections
Rightly said Fr. ….. Our faith is lukewarm, with no fire in our bellies….. Be it the clergy or laity…..
Praying for a mighty rekindling by the Holy Spirit
Sad, but true. No passion in us for Jesus, so no evangelisation. We take a lot for granted. We cherish our faith and may think we are ready to die for it…I know I tell myself this, but must admit I don’t know what I will do if put to the test. I’ve begun to pray for the grace of endurance if confronted with persecution. Wish I would burn with zeal for the Lord, but though I m a person of faith, I find fervour to speak of it lacking in me.
