Marriage is first a vocation and calling and then a choice to be made. Thank you Father for such an enriching and enlightening reflection. Thank you for opening our eyes to the true reasons to be married. Yes indeed marriage in church has become more of a pleasing of the community than God. There is so much we still need to learn, even as parents. Thank you for opening our eyes. Pray that we find the courage not to make this mistake with our children. God bless you. 🙏
Father, as usual your teaching is so good. Your teaching on marriage is really awesome. I want to share it on facebook for the benefit many. May I? The idea of marriage is warped in today’s world. Your teaching is excellent.
Thank you Fr. for this beautiful and down to earth teaching on marriage. In today’s love at first sight generation, marriage has lost its true meaning of loving ones partner in good times and bad and getting married in church has just become showbiz of celebration and no prayer or preparation. Married for 49 years I am still faltering and struggling but praying with my wife together each day has kept us together. Your teaching of today I will preserve and send to couples contemplating marriage.God bless you Fr.
